Everything

Everyone does

Through our fully inclusive curriculum, you’ll be introduced to subjects you might not have sought out on your own. That  means our string musicians are our mathematicians; our athletes are our set designers; our biologists are our stone carvers; and everything in between. At CWHS, mastery is not a requisite for participation.

Harmonizing

Opposites

9th

The 9th grade curriculum engages the realm of abstract thinking and objectivity. In freshman year, you’ll practice accurate observation and clear recollection in various contexts, striving to understand the world as it is, not merely how you perceive and experience it. You’ll work within restricted parameters to learn universal rules and systems of reasoning, from thermodynamics to modern history.

Studying

Processes

10th

How were these mathematical systems formulated? How did this natural environment evolve? How was this work of art created? As a sophomore, you’ll learn about the complex developmental processes that produce the world around us.

Looking

Within

11th

As a junior, you’ll pursue open-ended questions and discover answers you might not expect. You’ll have the opportunity to set and achieve personal goals, take responsibility for yourself as an individual, and build a reciprocal relationship with your school and local communities.

making sense of the

Journey

12th

Through service learning, international travel, a senior project, and more, you’ll spend your final year synthesizing everything you’ve learned to form a strong sense of yourself, who you want to be, and where you want to go. Whichever path you take, your senior year will prepare you for whatever comes your way.
